Lizzie Bosen, CSW graduated with a MSW, from the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver. During graduate school, she interned at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Crossroads Urban Center and Child and Family Empowerment Services, where she was able to put her empathetic listening skills and trauma informed care knowledge to use. She advocated and raised money for communities made vulnerable. Lizzie's array of professional experiences have given her the opportunity to put her social work skills to use while working with diverse populations.
Lizzie has always been interested in preventing and alleviating suffering. Her therapeutic style is warm, client-centered and strength-based. Lizzie collaborates with clients to formulate effective intervention plans including evidenc-based, cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy and EMDR. Lizzie encourages a healthy diet, physical exercise, mindfulness and healthy relationships as key components of optimal health. Lizzie helps individuals build confidence, meaning and happiness. She specializes in working with teens and young adults who are experiencing Mood Disorders, PTSD, OCD, Body Dysmorphia and Anxiety.
Lizzie is a Vegan foodie. She enjoys travel, hiking, yoga and spending quality time with family and friends.
